Kathryn Lucht's thoughts:

I ran this race as part of the back to back weekend with the MS Blue Half.

For me the best part of this race were the hand made finisher medals. I am EXTREMELY glad someone explained to that the race that the medals were all hand made by individuals at L'arche. Proceeds from the race go to this organization that supports adults with disabilities. If you participate in the back to back challenge you will also receive a plaque that include a bio of the individual who made it.

The course is extremely flat. I believe there are two slight incline. There are some very beautify trees that arch over the road - they were fun to run under and not something that I have here in Minnesota.

Overall a very fun small town race. My only criticism is that they did not open up the post race food tent till 2 hours after the race started. There were a number of runners who left without food and for those slower runners (like me) the line was too long because of the back-up. I heard the food was good, but I got cold and left.
