Fargo was always in my radar for my race in North Dakota and it didn't disappoint.

My friend and I drove to Fargo after taking a flight to Minneapolis airport. It was a easy drive. We got to the expo which goes to 8pm and I that gave us enough time. Nice photo opps and a good amount of vendors. Bib pick up was easy and we got out out sweatshirt and a really good quality cinch bag that would double as the race morning bag.

Later we went to the cute downtown area to stroll and take some pictures

Race morning we drove to Fargodome, parking was very easy and had enough spaces. we got to hang around inside still lining up at start line. The best part was having actual bathrooms vs. porta potties. Lining up to start was very smooth. there were so many pace groups. After both the Canadian and American national anthems we took off.

This is a very fast course. My Garmin had an elevation gain of only 89 feet. The course takes you through cute residential streets and downtown past the iconic Fargo theater. I remember thinking how fast half way point came by. I ran with a pacer and he was great and on pace. Plenty of aid stations throughout and seemed like the whole town was out cheering and supporting the runners. The volunteers were great!

Finish was again inside Fargodome and was smooth. Got our medals, then onto refreshments which included water, chocolate milk, nut roll, chips, bananas and donuts. There were even post race showers available in the stadium!

Not sure other years but head the best weather in Fargo this year!

My friend and I had such a great experience at Fargo marathon half. Highly recommend for late spring race!
