As others have said, this year was perfect for a winter race. The prerace/postrace location in the United Club was fantastic. Had it actually been cold, the shelter would have been most welcomed. The new location was great for a half. Personally, I enjoy the south end of the path. Think of this as a longer version of the Soldier Field 10 Miler. I hope they keep it down here for years to come. Packet pickup was a breeze the day before. Multiple pickup days/locations helped spread out the crowds I'm sure. The stocking hat/tech gloves are decent quality - I'll probalby get more use out of them than a pullover. Can't wait to run the lake again next year!
