Packet pickup was a breeze. I did have a small issue with my bib/t-shirt size. I emailed them to let them know I wanted to change my shirt size and they told me it was all set and squared away and my size was changed. At packet pickup when I received my bib, the sizing was wrong and had my old size still listed. I was told by the volunteer that she wasn't able to give me the size I switched to, but only the size that was listed on my bib. She told me I had to go and talk to a certain person and pointed her out. I went to talk with her and she was able to give me my correct size with no issues.
I had such a fun time!! I felt like I was in a parade. I really enjoyed the outfits and costumes, the course and the people. Even though it was windy and cold as all heck, I really enjoyed myself. The swag bag was AWESOME (shirt, restaurant coupons, stache, sunglasses, medal) and the medal was insanely bad ass!!! Ditka Dash will definitely be on my list for 2016 races.
I do feel like they need a little work in the customer service department on social media and I have said that before in a previous post about another race they put on (Green Beer 5K) because a ton of people had asked various questions and only certain ones would get answered and others would get ignored. I asked numerous times about strollers and if they were allowed and my question was ignored every time. Hubby had the same question posted and was ignored along with all of the other questions from others. I didn't get my answer until I spoke with them through email about my shirt size. Kinda sucky!
