Let's start off with one thing on this race...IT WAS HOT. Now the race has 0 control over the weather but I always like to mention it. The race was at Six Flags New England which is in Agawam, MA, a bit off the beaten path, but overall very easy to get to. And the parking, SO MUCH PARKING so big thank you for that. There was bib pick up race morning, or you could select to get your bib and swag mailed to you and I chose that. Sent in plenty of time and really made for a nice calm race morning, so I do recommend that. The race started in the parking lot and had a costume contest before which was fun to watch and the announcer was great and very good at keeping the crowd enthused as we were all, already sweating.

The race took off, and ran through the parking lot to the entrance of the park, now here is my 1 complaint, we had to run up and down stairs to get to the park, which I understand, the parking is across the street from the park, but I just feel they should have let us cross the street instead of using the stair bridge. First we got to run through Hurricane Harbor (the water park) then through Six Flags where I could see them warming up the rollers coaters which was cool. You then run back to the parking lot and finish where you started.

This was a run walk race, it was just soooo hot. Also, don't dye your hair the day before a race, it will run down everywhere.

Overall, fun and enjoyable race and would recommend.
