Okay, so I’d been hyped for this race for forever. The pictures do no justice to the scenery, if you think the views online look good, the views in person will knock your socks off. I seriously found myself pausing to take photos throughout the race as my breath was taken away (and not just from Hurricane Point) transportation to the race was great (albeit early) but rightly so for the distance to the start!
The only issue I had with the whole experience was, being on the second leg of the relay, and the relay points being changed this year, we did have a bit of a snafu with transportation, as they drove us past where we needed to start, fortunately we were able to get it all straitened out!
