Great experience. Getting there and parking was easy- getting into corral was no problem as was meeting us after the race. Orginztion was great. Many aid stations (roughly 20) along the course and a nice flat course to go fast on. Lots of entertainment along the way. Huge field but was spaced out well and never felt boxed in. Highly recommend!

This race is a nice opportunity to get some friends together on a weeknight to run.

The start was centrally located and had plenty of people embracing the theme with baguettes, berets, and other french things.

The race was organized fine as there was a relatively small field sorted by pace at the start line. The course was some paths around Lincoln Park which might be pretty fun if you are not from around here but having run these trails many times it wasn't that interesting and there were not many on-course distractions.

The post-race was fine but we got our beer and walked down to Crisp for some better grub. All in all- it's not expensive and a good excuse to get people together. The race itself is just so-so.

I didn't like the t-shirt either- too much print on the front.

The race had a good spot on the south shore of the city that was easy enough to get down to, it was also a Saturday race which automatically moves it up a star for me.

The start was really well organized and there was plenty of room in the cultural center to warm up or do whatever you wanted. Plenty of starting groups that stayed organized so you were not bunched at all. It was very easy to get to and less chaotic then the downtown races are.

The course- on the South Shore was interesting at first looping through a nice park that I had never been through and there was some bands and such along the way. The last 8 or so miles though were basically an out and back on the lakefront path that was just ok for me. They did have some an Asian drumming group that was pretty neat near the turnaround.

I liked the t-shirt but the post race replenishing was pretty lacking.

All-in-all- it was a little pricey but worth if it fits your schedule.
