I had been hearing about this one for years and a friend offered my wife and I room on his college dorm floor that he had rented, so it was hard to say no. The weather was perfect, the wind was to our back and the scenery was spectacular. This being a point to point, the crowd support is sparse until you get into the city, but once you're downtown it's explosive! I intend on going back in the next couple of years and getting a proper hotel and staying a couple of extra days to enjoy all that Duluth has to offer. Maybe training a little harder too...it's definitely a PR course.
