This race was AMAZING, from the expo to the end of the race!

Expo:
Had about 15-20 vendors, in a large event center-really easy to get to and accessible. There were no waits due to how many volunteers there were, also - you don't need your BIB number - they look you up by last name, just be sure to bring ID.

Communication prior, during and after the race was spectacular. I had an issue with my registration, emailed the appropriate contact, and got it fixed within hours. All of the volunteers were so positive and excited!! Really brought an awesome energy.

The crowd support was phenomenal the majority of the race. Each mile or so was a different band/D.J. This race raises funds for the Nationwide Children's Hospital - each mile featured a kiddo who was fighting cancer. These "mile champions" were on the course!! You could interact with them and their families while they cheered you on! An amazing way to see what your race is contributing too!

Shirts and medals are great. After the race they give you an entire goody bag filled with bagels, chips, water, crackers, apples and more.

The course was almost completely flat, besides a minor increase toward the end of the race, but crowd support did the trick.

Really, really enjoyed my time at this race! Highly recommend for a first time half-marathoner (like myself).
