I drove 2 hours to get to this race and it was worth it. The course was well marked, the timing was spot on and I was lucky enough to get 3rd place and got a very nice Race mug that I use every other day.
The post-party was excellent! Very good snacks and actual food. FREE beer and I could keep going.
The race was on a path that was wide and 50% shaded.
I will do this event next year again for sure. Finisher Medal was also very nice. It was a very nice day also.

This event was a lot of fun. A great race which was well marked and the weather was perfect. The timing was PERFECT and the Post Party after the race was very good. They gave away a nice Finisher Metal and then they also gave away really nice coffee/hot chocolate mugs to the 1st thru 3rd place finishers in all age categories which was way cool because I got one. I use it every day and it is the real deal because when I wash it, the ink stays on it unlike the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K Mugs

This is not a big race but there were a lot of runners at the event since we just got over covid. This race was executed perfectly. 100% Professional and the timing was perfect. I timed it with my Garmin and it was exact.
The entire setup was so nice. Big ballon at the start and nesh covered gates to keep the runners in line.
The course was marked good with mile markers and a water spot at the turnaround with not 1 but three people handing out water.

They gave away Finisher Medals & 1st thru 3rd place awards to the runners. The shirts were very nice and polyester so I wear this shirt to many of the other races I run in because the shirt is light and cool.
I even stayed in town and went and had a cup of hot chocolate nearby because I had so much fun. I will run at this event each and every year going forward.
You could tell that the company that put on this race, really cares about runners, AND to me that makes a big difference as to what race I run in.

I liked this race for so many reasons. The course was so cool. It was on a wide trail and well-marked so no one went the wrong way.
The start was nice with a big arch balloon and it had a chip start and finish. I also wear a Garmin and when I finished the race, the time was exactly what my Garmin said.

Post-party was fun and they had plenty of snacks, fruit, and drinks.

They gave away nice Finisher Medals and also 1st thru 3rd place awards in all age groups.
I noticed that the speaker was announcing runners as they finished the race and also gave sponsors a should out.

At the end of the 5K, they also had an easter egg hunt for the kids and I thought that added a special touch.

I had such a good time. I would suggest this race for everyone that wants to go to a good professional race that has spot-on timing.

Best Damn Race puts on one of the Best Events in the United States. After doing the 1st event, my wife and I travel to 2 other cities and do events.
This group knows what they are doing and the experience is one of the best. Great Fisinsher Awards and the Post Party is the best in the United States.

Do one and you will always do it each and every year thereafter.
