Race directors communicated well pre-race,during, and post. Made everything easy from packet pick up to swag packs! The medals smelled like pancakes and due to Covid there were limitations to the post race after party, but bloody Mary’s and champagne mimosas were flowing. Course was well monitored and blocked out for both distances. I’m doing this one forever!!

Super fun filled race outside of Houston and worth it! Very small town feel and lots of Christmas spirit. Costume contests and great trophies for a podium trip! Playground for kids, easy parking at nearby school. Run goes through neighborhood on streets that are wooded and low traffic. Best lip balm in my swag bag! Cute t-shirt.

Ran this in 2019 as an in person race, ran it virtually in 2020. The expo was fun, busy, and the swag pick up was easy! My husband and I ran this race together in person and had a blast! For once it was cold in Houston! The race swag was fun. We got a fantastic jacket and a hot chocolate mug replete with hot chocolate, and marshmallows. I still wear the jacket to this day and love the race course!
