I chose this race because it was my birthday weekend and nothing like running a race to celebrate a birthday. I absolutely loved this race! The flat course is great, of course, but the atmosphere made it too much fun. All the bands were fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed running through the city. I would love to run this race again.

I have done various races in the Alamo Beer Challenge, but the last time I did all four races was 2016. The races are designed to help runners prepare for Rock n’ Roll San Antonio. Each race offers at least two distances for both marathoners and half marathoners. The race experience, courses, and scenery are all great but what makes them awesome races is the race management. Scallywompus is always prepared and organized and knows how to put on a great race.
