I did the 10-miler with a large group of friends, and while it is hilly, the crowd support is incredible. So are the views.
The medal and t-shirt are very simple, but given that Minneapolis is such a fun city to visit, I would do the marathon.
The options for food are numerous afterwards, the city is beautiful, and though the field is very full, the course never feels cramped.
I would definitely do it again.

This was my first marathon, and it is a really fast course. A small race through the outskirts of Omaha on an out and back loop.
The expo is a couple tents, but the shirt is nice and the medal is good.
Crowd support is minimal, but it is nice to start with the half marathon people.
I'm a baseball fan, so to finish inside the home of the College World Series was fantastic.
It was a nice fall race, but in retrospect, I probably would have ran Minneapolis a couple weeks later and went to Lincoln in the Spring.
