Surftown was a perfect first half. It is a relatively easy race (flat, one hill that is quick). It is a beautiful course with a great chute finish line. The medal was super cool (a surfboard) It was very easy to register. The cost was comparable with other halfs in the area. I recommend this race to first timers due to the summer lead up and easy course. This course won't break your spirit.
