The Flying Pig Marathon is my favorite marathon!! The course offers amazing views of Cincinnati especially running over the bridges that cross into KY and back into Cincinnati. The course has some challenging hills in miles 6-8 but the views from the top of these hills are breathtaking!! The aid stations in this marathon are beyond compare. I had popsicles, candy, cookies, pickle flavored chips, bacon and more. At one aid station I was able to throw footballs to children holding baskets and at another I was able to shoot basketballs!! And the crowd support along the course never stopped!! It definitely helped me keep going!!! I will be back again next year!!

This is a great race, with a flat course through downtown Indianapolis!! So many encouraging women on the course and beautiful race medal!! A race I look forward to every year!! This course hold my current PR for the half marathon distance and I’m hoping that this year I can PR again!!! The race shirt can fit a little snug so I do recommend sizing up! My favorite part of this course is that there is a part that is out and back that allows you to cheer for other that are ahead and behind you!! Women empowering women is what this run is all about!!
