This race was my second half marathon in about two months. The course was through downtown Columbus to Ohio State Campus and back downtown. Overall the race was well organized and enjoyable; seemed like the elevation was more intense that I expected. The after 'party' was great, several free alcoholic beverages and food/snacks, plus entertainment. I've ran several shorter races downtown so the scenery wasn't anything I haven't experienced before.

I was very excited to get a spot in this race. They sell a limited number of tickets - so you have to register early! The course was enjoyable, through Ohio State campus with the race finishing on the 50-yard line of 'The Shoe'. Shirt and metal were high quality, I received other coupons and swag from area companies. The post race snacks were average for most races, the sponsors of the race were very prevalent and showed/provided support. Pre-race (while in the corrals) featured a stage with Ohio State celebrities making appearances. If you are a Buckeye fan, I would highly recommend this race.
