I was not expecting to really like this race but it was awesome! What was great were the spectators! Everyone was out in the neighborhoods it was awesome! The course was pretty flat just a few hills that are doable. Parking was decent there are lots near the start. The after party was great 👍🏻 overall a nice Labor Day race!

I loved this race. It was my 3rd marathon and I was super nervous about the elevation. I didn’t PR - I ran with an Achilles injury- I don’t recommend that. But the race itself was great. The swag is awesome. Just for registering I got a pullover, and beanie. I didn’t collect my arm warmers bc It was a “pick up after the race” and I forgot. I loved the opportunity for challenges. I was able to collect 3 medals for running the 5k and full. The medals are HUGE and colorful! Nothing beats running the Golden Gate Bridge. My only complaint and suggestion is don’t bother with the VIP lounge. It’s not really worth the $$$ they kept running out of food and the “private bathrooms” were still available to everyone else so the line was still super long. Run this race it’s great!
