I've become a big fan of virtual races - especially in the winter. Maryland winters can be a bit unpredictable and I loved the fact that I can work my run around ice, snow, and freezing temperatures since virtual races don't tie you down to a single race date! My running routine had been disrupted after having COVID in December so this race was more walking than running for me when I completed it in January, but it was great to be outside with my 4 legged running partner - my mini labradoodle, Tinker Bell!
The swag for the race arrived minus the medal due to some shipping / supply chain issues. The beanie is super cute and was a nice touch on race day. I was also pleasantly surprised how soft the cotton t-shirt was to wear. I was originally a little bummed that it wasn't a tech tee, but I kind of forgot how much I enjoy a good comfy cotton shirt! You can also grab a men's cut or more fitted women's cut.
This would be a fun race to run with your kids - something the whole family can enjoy!

The Pac-Man Level Up Virtual Challenge provided several runs rolled into one event. As you complete distances, you "unlock" the next level. You can log your runs through the RunKeeper app or you can manually enter your information - making it easy to use treadmill runs when you want. Swag for the race included a medal, pennant, and sticker. It was nice to get something besides a shirt as your race swag. The package with the goodies arrived a few weeks after the challenge ended, which was a little disappointing as I like to have my swag with me when I finish, but the cute medal made up for it in the end!

I had a fantastic experience with another Ventures Endurance race! Last year I ran the DC Batman Virtual Run and the DC Wonder Woman Virtual Run so I was thrilled to add the DC Superman Run to my list. They do a phenomenal job with swag and race management. Once you register, you can expect your swag to arrive to your doorstep 2-3 weeks later which means you can have your medal and bonus gear ready on race day. The quality of the zippered hoodie and medal are great and I love a great race theme. The Superman Run was fun to do in costume - a favorite part of the race experience for me!

Such a fun virtual race experience to celebrate a great film. The registration process was smooth and swag arrived quickly which I always appreciate so I can have it ready for race day. Swag included a medal, sweat bands, tech tee, and race bib. The quality of the decal on the tech tee could have been a little better, but the super cute head band, wrist bands, and medal made it all worth it! I love a good themed race and this one was no different. Being a part of the Tune Squad was a great experience!

Run to Escape: Mission Mt. Olympus is a fun way to combine a love of escape rooms and puzzles with your love of running. Solve a puzzle, get access to a run, listen to clues while running, solve another puzzle, get another run. . .and so it continues over 6 runs. Having trouble solving the puzzle? No worries - there are helpful hints from your guide, Hermes, that you can access if needed. This is a "green" running experience - all virtual, no swag, no mailings. This may appeal to some while others may miss getting "something" for completing the experience. Throughout the experience the virtual support was fantastic. Don't miss this unique running experience!
