This is the second race in a three race series through a unique part of southern Arizona. The organizers clearly love the area they live in and want everyone to share in that enjoyment. The course is relatively flat and winds through the orchards of the Green Valley Pecan Company. Running as the light filters through the trees on the dirt trails is a surprise and takes your breath away. When you sign up for the Orchard series there is an incentive in free goodies, for this year it was a hat. I highly recommend this race. The people, the organizers, the racers, the volunteers etc make it such a joy to race.
