I've run this race since its inception in 2012. It's a challenging course with many rolling hills, but the friendly volunteers and residents help pass the time. It's manned well with volunteers to ensure you are on the correct route, many aid stations, and enough portalets to get you through the entire course. It is a very scenic course taking you through downtown, pretty neighborhoods, and lastly next to Lake Dora. I love this race and will continue to keep it in my race schedule yearly.

This was an awesome race. It's a mainly flat course with the only big hill being over the bridge. The route is very scenic taking you into Tomoka State Park. We stayed at one of the host hotels and they provided a spaghetti dinner the night before the race, a to go breakfast the morning of, and buses to the race. The after race party was great with delicious beer from Tomoka Brewery. This is a definite must do race!
