Sure, you want the shirt and the medal, and the characters along the route are fun, but you are staying at a Disney resort and you rode the Magical Express from the airport so how do you get your packet?

Is it at your resort when you check in? NOPE
Is it in your room? NOPE

It's 15+ miles away, so you get to pay to get over there, or ride a bus for an hour each way so they can try and sell you stuff at an EXPO.

And of course the morning of the race you have to be out of bed extra early so you can ride buses for an hour to get there. No one's on the roads, but they sure know how to waste time.
