My first Marathon. It was tough. I’d like to blame the weather, which was hot but being my first marathon I really didn’t know what to expect. Having run a few half-marathons I wasn’t expecting to hit the wall...but I did. I struggled through the last 10k. The sun was beating down, I ran out of water about a mile from the next aid station but I made it! Overall the organization was impeccable and the crowds moved smoothly. I’d do the MCM again (but not right away!)
