I ran the double (both the 5K and 10K) and it was a blast! For such a large crowd, I really thought it was well organized. There was plenty of parking in City Park, the morning-of packet pickup was smooth, the start times were great, and there was PIE! I would definitely do this one again! If I had to complain about something, I would say making different finishers medals for the 5 & 10K. They were the same for both.

I ran this race last year with a bunch of running friends, and we are doing it again this year! I am travelling across the country for this race! From Colorado to Delaware! The expo and packet pickup are pretty well organized. I don't usually hang around expos too long. I do like that they allow you to pick up packets for a friend. That is nice considering the size of the race. I enjoyed the beer tent afterwards, of course! I will have to say that I like that they are giving out beer tickets this year instead of it being a free-for-all! That will give more beer to the marathoners ;) Great views!
