Excellent half marathon, you get to see much of Louisville (not Churchill Downs, gotta run our spring race for that) usually a cool fall morning, not too crowded, but a fun atmosphere. Hills in the middle third, but flat as a pancake at the end for your finishing kick! Some rollers at the first half but not much. Plenty of chances after the race (or before if you want) to experience Louisville's vibrant foodie scene as well as the bourbon industry! Post race beer, burgoo (traditional KY hunter's stew) and bourbon tasting. Much fun here!
