This was my 5th year doing the International Detroit Free Press Half-Marathon. From the start, I love the expo at Cobo Hall in Detroit. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The course scenery is amazing. The view from the top of the bridge in the morning sunrise is breathtaking. Would definitely recommend to any runner at any level. Course is fairly flat. The only exception is when getting on the bridge. In my opinion the hardest part on the course with the increase in elevation. I can't wait until next year.
