First time doing this 1/2 Marathon. Did it with a friend and it was her first ever 1/2! We had a great time! Certainly reccommend staying in Detroit a local hotel near race start/finish. Much easier for early morning start and less headache before and after the race! Even the weather cooperated!! :)
