I have run the Full Detroit Marathon in 2005 and the Half in 2009, 2010. This year i ran the "all USA" half marathon course. Best thing: It started at 10:30am. Downtown Detroit looked great. I lived in Detroit from 1969 to 1995. The city has really made big improvements in the last few years. The Detroit marathin is always well organized. I reccomend running the entire marathon so you get to experiences going over the bridge and under the tunnel as well as Indian Village and Belle Isle.
