This was my first full marathon and although I was born and raised in the 'D' it was incredible to see how great Detroit has become. I love this city and the course for the marathon was absolutely perfect. Race management was the best, from preparation for possible inclement weather, to security for everyone's safety crossing the border into Canada and back, this race was flawless for my experience. I highly recommend this for every runners bucket list of races. I will be back next year!
