This was my 2nd half marathon, so I have a limited experience for comparison. Overall, I enjoyed the race and will likely return next year. The International half is nicely laid out, although I agree with others that some of the scenery could be better. The view of Detroit from Windsor is nice at 8am. The organizers did a nice job communicating about the weather with storms in the forecast. The crowds were good, better in some areas than others. They could use a few more bands/groups spread out in the later part of the race to keep the emotions up. The race is pretty flat for all but the bridge/tunnel. My training in Cincinnati prepared me for both, so I don't consider either to be that tough. It was windy as the race went on through the morning. Glad I was only doing the half.
