This is a huge race that caters to the marathon and half marathon distance runners. I will probably never do the 5k again. The course was set up to stay out of the long distance runners way so after it went past Lucas Stadium, it was all overpasses and back alley. Aside from that, every single school program is involved. This is great for the kids, but don't try running with 700 tiny people weaving around.
Otherwise, the expo was great and swag/medal were nice.

This was a great race. It wasn't too crowded, the first mile was all downhill which also meant the last mile or so was all uphill, the people were excited and friendly. The expo is small, but the booths there were perfect. Goodie bag and after race food were great. The race went through campus so the scenery was nice as well.
The only elements I would want to see change is communication needs to be better. Runners weren't aware of bathrooms or aid stations.
I would do this race again.
