This was a fun race for me. I liked the challenge of doing a 10k and then quickly after that a 5k. The packet pickup was the day before and during the day so I had to go over my lunch hour which was kind of a pain but ok. I received a nice cotton t-shirt, a Team Ortho tank & my race bib. The morning of the race there was plenty of parking at the Union Depot with a short 1/3 mile walk to the start line. There were a few hundred people in this race so smaller than a lot of St. Paul races. The course was an out and back course which was kinda a bummer because you run through the finish once in the middle of your run just to turn around and finish at it again. I would recommend a change of course for this one. The runners were all very nice and enthusiastic and the photographer was amazing! I got some of the best pictures running I have ever been in for 3+ years of running. Also a couple months ago I received a TIKI Run Champion flag and stand very nicely made in the mail! I was overall happy with this race, some competition on a nice warm summer morning.
