Atlanta is my home town , so this is my 5th year doing the Peachtree Road Race. I went to the expo Tuesday! loads of photo ops and vendors. Easy in and out! the day of the race I caught Marta to Lenox! I got to see alot of my run boos. there was water only on the course, but lots of powerade, coke, sprite, and water after. Cardiac hill is very long! So you get you fair share of Atlanta hills. the after party was nice popsicles, bananas, and chips. the long walk up the hill to Marta (public transportation) was killer! Overall I love the energy and love this race exudes! A must do race!

This was the inaugural year! When registering you had the option to add the vip package. I wish I had! But I did attend the expo. There were a lot of vendors, and a lot of guest speakers.you could purchase additional The Race gear. The gear did not disappoint on style or quality. They had the mile markers that were hand painted by various sponsors on display at the expo. I participated in some of the exercise classes they were offering for free. The day of the race parking was very ample, and quite easy. The course way very hilly it took you through the neighborhoods in the west end and sylvan hills area.Tthe finish up that hill on Sylvan road was challenging! The tshirt was awesome! I would definitely recommend this race. After the race we even signed up to do community service in the surrounding neighborhoods the next day and enjoyed a block party to celebrate the finishers!
