This was my very first marathon, and it was a good enough experience to keep me going. The race was extremely flat. The whole race it feels like people are lined up to cheer you on. You get to travel through a lot of points of interest in the Indianapolis area. The medals are part of a 5 series filling in the 4 “quadrants”, and the war memorial at the center of the city.
