I always love the races put on by the B.A.A.! They are very well organized and always ensure their race participants and volunteers have a great time! I ran the 10k last year - the temps were in the high 80's at the start of the race - it was so hot! Unfortunately, the water and Gatorade for runners was in the sun after the race and no one wants to drink warm water/Gatorade when the temps were in the low 90's after running 6 miles! Overall, great race and would recommend it!

I was excited to run the 2016 Providence Marathon on behalf of the One Love Foundation! However, I was very disappointed with the amount of runners who participated as well as the management of the race and lack of people on the course! It is definitely not the NYC Marathon or Boston Marathon but the lack of energy on the course and from the volunteers made me feel like I was running a 5k. I loved the tech shirt I received from the race - great quality! However, because of the lack of aid stations, energy and crowd I will most likely not return to Providence to re-run this race again.

The 2015 TCS NYC Marathon was my first marathon and I still am overwhelmed with emotion when I think about what an amazing experience I had in NYC. The crowds alone are a great reason to run 26.2 through the boroughs of NYC. The pre-race start area for runners was very well run - Dunkin Donuts was handing out hats, bagels and coffee and there were also tents to sit in to relax prior to the start of the race! I hope to run this race again in the near future!

This is one of my favorite races that the B.A.A puts on! It's a great race to do - especially since it is in the fall so the cooler weather makes for a better race (at least for me)! The best part is when you get to run through the zoo and see some of the animals towards the end of the race! There are always a lot of people lining the course cheering you on as well! Very well organized!

This was my first half marathon in NY! The weather conditions were around 15 degrees at the start of the race! It was SO cold but the energy of the crowds and the aid station volunteers really kept me going! I really enjoyed running through Times Square and seeing some of the city sites! It was truly a well-run race put on by NYRR!
