This race is my favourite half marathon. I've raced it 3 years in a row. It's fun fast and scenic. From live music, cheering sections and so many people dressed up in costume throughout the course. The volunteers at all the aid stations were fast, cheerful and knew what to do. I can't think of anything I would change about the course. What I am always disappointed the most about is the post race meal. Also would be nice to have more grandstands at the finish line.

I knew this was going to be a fast race. So many hills the first half of the race and easy to coast along to the finish line. This years race was cold and rainy right before the start. Which was perfect conditions for me! I am used running in the other toronto marathon which is a much bigger race. It was nice to move around a little easier. What I wasn't impressed with was that the aid stations were undermanned and there was no gels where it was advertised ( thankfully I came prepared with my own) my wife was running another distance and she said there were stations that weren't even open yet when she went by. At the finish line I didn't spend much time as my family were cold but what they were disappointed with was there were no food options at all for them at the finish line. I'm used to out and back or loop courses so having the start and finish at opposite ends of the city was a pain too. I would only come back to this race for a PB
