This race was great! I enjoyed running this on Thanksgiving morning. It was pretty difficult because of all of the hills, but it was still a fun course. There were lots of supporters along the course and just the right amount of aid stations. The race director made this a really fun race! I would definitely recommend this to anyone in Birmingham on Thanksgiving day!

This race was supposed to be a very fast race, but there were some problems this year. It was extremely hot on the day of the race and there were not enough aid stations. Sometimes during the race we went for several miles without and fluids. The race was also mostly on dirt trails, so it was a little more difficult than a typical road race. There was also a train that stopped runners for several minutes during the race. This race may be better a different year, but this year it did not go as planned.

This was a pretty great race. The course was fun and the support along the course was great. There were plenty of characters along the course that made the race fun. The race did start pretty early though, so it was still dark when I finished. It was nice that it started early because the temperature was cool, but it made it difficult to see things along the course. The snacks at the end were great and so were the shirts and medals.

This race was my first marathon and I had a great experience! The only issue was the weather. It was freezing cold! I really liked seeing all of the characters and running through the castle in Magic Kingdom. There were a lot of people cheering too! The candy stop around mile 22 was pretty awesome too!
