This was my first half and second ever running race. I'm reviewing this race two years, and many races later and can tell you the management is top notch. The start is at the Willard High School so parking is easy and ample. The course is a high quality rails to trails so it's flat and fast. It is a certified Boston qualifying course, and in my opinion would be a good option for someone to use as such. You get tree lined trail for miles and miles........and miles. You get to see a lot of the same. The aid stations were good. I understand they improved for the longer distances, marathon and beyond. I felt well taken care of. The shirt was a long sleeve tech that is top notch and well designed, one of my favorites. The medal is also one of the best quality I have ever received. It's large and high detail. The ribbon is great too, that's a great detail sometimes overlooked. Tons of food at the finish. I ate too many homemade cookies. This race is a jewel. Small but worth travel to participate. Go get you're Frisco on!
