This was my first official 5k race! I've been training for a few months and thought Angel Fire would be the perfect place! I arrived a few days early to adjust to the elevation, this is very important, especially if you know it takes a while for yourself to adjust. I was a little bummed that the race shirts were not available at packet pick up, but the event coordinators assured they would be available after the race, which they were! The course itself was mapped out well and the view was amazing! I will definitely be back next year and will bring the rest of my family!!
