My first 70.3 Iron Man triathlons. It was a fantastic day the race course was new. The swim course was moved to beaver Lake. The bike course was a single loop Which toured the area. The run course was two laps around elk and beaver Lake. The weather was ideal. Little wind, not too hot, what more can I ask for. The swim was chaotic, but all swims of events of this size are. The transition area was well setup, the bike course was in good shape, the roads were in good condition and dry. The hills on the bike course we're a challenge, but did not negatively impact my results. The run course is a relatively flat gravel trail.
