This was the first time that Shoppers Run for Women came to Toronto. This stop in the series benefited Toronto College Women's Hospital, for Mental Health. The atmosphere before the run was amazing. The crowd was pumped.
I did only the 5k which was just one loop. We ran along streets of Toronto, had many Toronto Police Officers' controlling traffic, bikes and keeping us safe.

Swag bag, was amazing. Instead of medals we received Foxy Bracelets.

My only issue was not enough cheering sections along the run, and the finish line was not pumped up when we crossed. I feel that with it being Shoppers Drugmart and having so many stores within the GTA, it could of been built up more to have friendly competitions between stores for cheering sections along the run.

But in all, I will be running this run next year, with more friends and having a blast while knowing funds have been raised for an excellent cause.
