This was my first half marathon and it actually is one of the reasons why I enjoy and am trying to run a half marathon every month for 2016. Going in to the Expo, I didn't really know what to expect, but it seemed very well organized. There were never any lines for anything, and there were multiple vendors that offered a variety of things.

The race itself was beautiful and very scenic. I loved being able to run through downtown, and to be able to see parts of Denver that I never really had time to slow down and look at before. If you want a great race to actually see the city, this is definitely one to do it.

Definitely loved the sweet ending of getting a bowl full of goodies and chocolate! One of my favorite races because of the swag and all the goodies. The bling was by far one of the best medals I have received (even in comparison to some of the half marathons I have done). The only complaint I would have was packet pickup. It was by far one of longest lines I have ever stood in just to pick up my bib and race info. I am writing this review almost 6 months later, but I do remember this line being by far the longest just to pick up my race items. There were very limited options (picking up your bib and such at a few running store locations), the times were not exactly the most convenient, and I remember standing in line for over an hour to get my stuff (I had heard longer for those that went earlier). The race was very well organized, just packet pick-up was kind of a mess.
