This was my first time doing this race. I had heard good things about it from several people that I run with. I went to the expo on Saturday and had no problem getting in and out. I had bought a parking pass and had no trouble parking at Turner Field. There were plenty of aid stations and awesome volunteers standing out in the freezing weather. The course was nice, but hilly.

One con was communication the day before. I received an email with the cold weather plan that would make some people that were signed up for the 15k cut down to the 5k, but still had some questions. I contacted them through twitter, but never heard a response. I kept an eye on the other social media accounts as well and saw several people with similar questions to mine, but no answers. If many people have the same concerns, they should take time to address them. Luckily, I was not affected by the cold weather plan and did finish the 15k.
