Great race for being its inaugural run! The race was very well put together. There were plenty of water stations with water and powerade, also some snacks. The expo was good. Scenery was amazing during the run. The after party was the only negative for the run but that can be chalked up to it being the first year.

This race means a lot to me, it supports sun shades for the community. This was the first year I ran this course. I had run Shun the Sun when it was held in Mesa, AZ. The course was very well marked and quite flat. Loved the running along the canal. I truly enjoyed all the volunteers that gave their time to keep the runners hydrated! The race was very well put together. Don't forget it is for a great cause!
