Pricey race, but I had a great time and will definitely run Pittsburgh again!

Super organized race, which I loved! I picked up my bib and shirt at the expo a few hours before it closed and had no trouble (last bigger race I ran, someone stole my bib!).

Huge, huge race, but safety was a top priority at all of the weekend events, and in this day and age, is very much appreciated. Pittsburgh even went the extra mile to send an email with a video explaining how to perform CPR in an emergency, to be even more safe on course!

Nice expo, with lots of booths to see. Not a ton of great deals, but not awful!

Not real "scenic" but winds throughout the city. If you have a fear of bridges, might want to pass on this race since you go over quite a few. Many people claim it's very hilly, but I did not think it was too challenging of a course.

Biggest downfall was parking! It's a mess on race day, so you must arrive super early if you do not stay within walking distance to the start line.

Overall, the Pittsburgh Half is one of my favorite half marathons!

Very low key races, but well organized and still great! No expo really, just a packet pickup where I received my number with chip timing, t-shirt, and pair of cute gloves. There was a complimentary pasta dinner, but I did not attend. Race morning, parking was super easy! Smaller races, so no corrals to be in at certain times, just behind the start line before the cannon goes off. Fast, super flat course with spectators scattered throughout and tons of volunteers working traffic, water/gatorade stations, and medical stations. Finish is on field where you recieve your finishers medal and Blenco glass awards for overall and age group winners. Overall a great race for anyone wanting a low key race with a flat course!

Super awesome and well organized race with tons of great swag! I ran the half marathon, while my mom and sister ran the 4 miler, we used the race as a fun girls weekend and all had an absolute blast!

There are a ton of fun and well thought out aid stations throughout the course, some for everyone and others for those looking to have more fun with the race, rather than just race.

Cincinnati is a super easy city to navigate around, so finding the expo, start line, and parking for both were a breeze!

The course was a more challenging course, but still enjoyable. Not super scenic, but it's a road race not a trail race.

Super, super organized, and for only their second year! I was impressed!

Overall, my absolute favorite half marathon to date! So glad Cincinnati puts this race on, I will be back Queen Bee Half!

Loved the name of this race and it is a close race, so I decided to run it. 2015 was the first year, so I can only imagine things look up for 2016 and I plan to race again!

Small expo, didn't really have much, but for the first year, not too bad. Biggest downfall was my shirt was a men's size, which was wayyyy to big for me and I could not wxchange for anything smaller because no smaller sizes existed.

It's a road races, not a trail race, so not very "scenic". If you are wanting a scenic race run a trail race in WV. If you don't care, give the Mountain Mama 8k a shot. A few small inclines, but nothing too hilly or very difficult.

Parking is a mess, but that's most races.

Best part of the race was the medals for finishers and hand pained wine glasses for overall finishers! ;)

Overall, this race could use some improvement, but not too shabby for the first year! Will go back to check out this race again in 2016 and hope to see an even bigger turnout!
