Wow! This is a once in a lifetime feeling of a race. Hands down the most incredible time of my life. If you qualify I would recommend this race x’s 100!
I felt safe the entire way. Also, the spectators at this race were lining the whole course. Unbelievable!
Weather at this race is questionable. During mine is was extremely warm.

This is a rather big half/full marathon. The course seemed fast as I set a Pr here. The whole time it felt like a great experience. The expo is huge and a lot to check out. The race starts with fireworks and the playing of “Thunder” by ACDC which really got people pumped up. The best part? Every mile recognizes a child who is a champion from the Children’s Hospital. All around this race was put on very well from beginning to end.

This is such a small hometown feeling of a marathon but it was perfect that way! Would put this race at the top of your list if you want a super fast course. There is nothing on this course that would intimidate you. There are bathrooms and water at every mile so you knew when to expect it.
The views during this marathon was my favorite part. It’s absolutly gorgeous seeing as you are running on almost an island! My favorite marathon (course wise) that I’ve ever ran!

This was a great race! There was only one section of hills in the park you run through. It started raining around mile 8 of the race. From what I’ve collected it rains almost every year at this race so just anticipate that.
You run through church hills downs but all the tents are up so not what I expected. Overall the course was great and well spectated where the half runners were.

This was my first marathon and it exceeded my expectations. This race is very hilly but the scenery is incredible. Knoxville is a smaller marathon compared to others but the first half is FULL of spectators! The support is beyond what you would expect. The best part? The last mile is through a cute downtown and you finish on the 50 yard line of the University of Tennessee football stadium!
