This was my favorite tri! There is a lot of hoopla and fun surrounding the race. The race was well managed. You do have to be available the day before the race to rack your bike and attend a mandatory race information session. It happened to be very hot that day with not enough shade!

The course is easy to follow. One difficult part about the swim is you have to swim out to the "start line" and tread water for a bit before the horn goes off between groups. I did fine with it, but it can tire you a bit out before starting.

You receive an Esprit de She Moxie Tank Jersey as your swag. It is a gorgeous and comfortable fitting tank. I loved it so much I bought another version of one.

I highly recommend this race for a first timer through a pro. I will definitely be signing up for next year!
