Pros:
• Parts of this race are absolutely beautiful -- particularly in Music Row, Hillsboro, and the residential areas around Belmont University.
• Finish area at LP Field is really well oriented for flow of runners finishing the race and proceeding through to baggage check and the finish line festival.
• Really nice bling, especially for the 2015 race! And if you finished RnR New Orleans and RnR Raleigh in 2015, you received the "Southern Charm" Medal, if you complete 3 of the 4 RnR races in the south (the last one being RnR Savannah, which will be in November)
• Great partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - many racers ran as St. Jude Heroes, raising funds for the patients and families of St. Jude.
• Lots of spectator support along the course!

Cons:
• LOTS of people. Over 18,000 completed the half marathon, while over 2,600 completed the marathon - both of these started together. Additionally, a 5K, which started only about 15 minutes earlier and not too far from the half and full startline, had an additional 2,200 people complete that race. So much of this race was super crowded!
• Weather, at least for 2015, was incredibly MUGGY! Thunderstorms and rain had swept through the area the day before, leaving the atmosphere super saturated.
• Because of weather, many people who were flying into Nashville were delayed and couldn't make it to the expo for bib pickup. Race morning bib pickup ended up being very long. Thankfully, RnR was kind enough to do this for weather-delayed participants!
• Hills, hills, everywhere. This is a con unless you actually like hills. Which would make you a masochist. LOL.
