Wow, I could have been hammered by mile 5, I have never seen that much alcohol being served by fans anywhere. Seriously I was tempted with everything from Tequila and Whiskey to Bloody Mary's. This was the most supportive I have seen any neighborhoods at any RNR races. I would go back and run it just to party with the people on their lawns around the way. The only negativity was that the course showed that the last 4-5 miles were supposed to e down hill and mile 11 was a huge hill. Other than that parking sucked and walking was the fastest transportation available.

I wasn't running but I had my 12 yr old runner racing the 5k. We used this as a tune up for the San Diego RnR Half Marathon May 31st. We don't have any night runs that I know of back East where we're from so it was a new experience for us. The 5k and 8k started at the same time and shared the same course which made for some confusion when trying to spot racers. the course was very scenic and looked very fast. My only complaint would be the 90 degree turn into the finish. Other than that we will be returning next year to run it again. They also had a kids fun run for $5 that my daughter ran and she enjoyed it. They even had medals for the kids at the end.
