This was my first time running this particular race. I've run races in Uptown Charlotte before and I have to say it's probably my favorite place to run.

The race course itself was very simple. Minimal turns so it was very easy to not get lost. There were police out at every intersection and almost every stop sign to guide runners in the correct direction. The elevation of the course wasn't too bad. Uptown Charlotte is mostly flat with a few long, slow inclines. The most intense hill was right towards the end but it wasn't completely horrible.

Water stops were well maintained by volunteers and there were sporadic people cheering on the runners. All in all, I think this was a great race and I'll definitely be doing it again.
