I ran with a lot of full uniformed policemen,community runners,kids. It was fun, the trail was excellent,along the des Plaines river,a nice expo set up at the end of the race. I'll do this race again

A smooth, family oriented race in a small town community.kid friendly, with a professional photographer taking pics thru out.the have held these races for 30+ years.

A flat easy course, well set up, intersections with roadblocks or traffic control this a 1st of 6 races thru december. The goodie bags are good and a drawing with some pretty cool stuff in it at the end of the race A family event.kid friendly

Friendly, it's the 3rd year I've driven 5 hours to run this ,with my brother. I've run a lot of other races, but have a strong fondness for this one
